I have over 20 years experience of working with a wide range of people in both informal and formal learning settings, including at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Clients include Engage (Advocacy and training network for gallery education), The Lowry (Salford), Suffolk Artlink, Open Eye Gallery (Liverpool), Creative Future (Brighton), Artlift (Gloucestershire), Norfolk County Council, Snape Maltings (now Britton Pears Arts), Green Ribbon Arts Festival (Wales), WAHWN & Artworks Cymru (Wales), Luminate (Scotland) and the Scottish Artists Union. I work in partnership with the Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance on a range of events and the annual Practising Well Award.
I provide consultancy to organisations: designing, delivering and/or evaluating programmes of training and support for creative practitioners. I develop and deliver staff development training for organisations and institutions who wish to explore or update their existing knowledge of support.
I also tailor workshops to artist groups, and offer support to creative practitioners and organisational teams who work in socially engaged practice and participatory arts using reflective practice methods of writing, coaching, mentoring and action learning.
